Peter R. Worrell has successfully led engagements on behalf of Bigelow clients for over twenty years. Worrell has a special interest in the field of behavioral economics and its application to decision making in private capital markets, in addressing the corporate governance issues of entrepreneurial companies, and in creating enterprises with sustaining value to all stakeholders by welding together superior leaders with access to capital. He is a frequent speaker on the strategy of building lasting value in entrepreneurial organizations without regard to short-term fads in public speculative markets.

Worrell is a passionate advocate of private, social sector solutions to community issues, with a special concern for increasing access to higher education. His social sector leadership has included Chairing the Board of Trustees of Saint Michael's College, and serving on the Board of Trustees of The Landing School of Boatbuilding & Design (ACCSCT accredited). Worrell is a member of the Board of Directors of several privately owned companies.

Worrell received his Masters of Business Administration from Babson College's F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business, and his Bachelor of Arts cum laude from Saint Michael's College. He was recently awarded a Doctor of Jurisprudence, honoris causa from Saint Michael's College.

With wife Kareen, a family practice physician, Worrell lives on the Seacoast of New Hampshire. They are avid cruising sailors and have sailed from Newfoundland and Labrador to the West Indies, and in New Zealand, Ireland and England. They are interested in travel, skiing, frugality, celestial navigation, reading, fitness, and music.
